SC's in higher elevations...differences??.

Here is another question to show my ignorance. If SC's are driven in higher elevations such as Colorado, what if any modifications or changes need to be made to a lower elevation car to make it run like it should? I haven't dealt with this yet and only know that the higher elevations can kill your performance. Were the EEC's different for Colorado cars? What changes would be required to make the car run satisfactorily? I appreciate your inputs.

A great week all.

There's been a lot of input on this issue.

Supercharged engines are better at elevation than NA although they still don't perform as well as sea level. Changing the EEC is the best way to compensate for altitude, and you'll get a bunch of opinions as to who does it best. Dr Fred is who I use. I got a tuner from Rich @ MN12 performance and a mod file from Fred. With a tuner & laptop, you can "tinker" with the #'s and optimize to get the best setup for your mod's as you upgrade. Both are listed in the suppliers listing. ;)

Just 1 man's opinion. :p
