My heads are back from Stiegemeier...

Here's the flow data after Stiegemeier's work. My heads had some porting, bowl work, and bigger valves (1.937 Intake and 1.55 exhaust) put in them from another source a couple of years ago, but I decided to have Stiegemeier go back through them and do some welding and such. Numbers are as follows with a diffuser:

After Stiegemeier's work:
Lift .200 .300 .400 .500 .550
Int. CFM 126 172 200 211 211
Exh. CFM 116 186 191 210 215

Before their work, I had the following flow numbers and made over 300 rwhp with Fred's 520 cam:
Lift .200 .300 .400 .500 .550
Int. CFM 105 126 181 205 208
Exh. CFM 99 128 145 147 147

Now off to Fred for a nice cam grind to match... Stiegemeier recommended not going over a .570 lift due to the heads not flowing much after that.

WOW! The exhaust side really opened up. I too have had some work done on my heads, how much did it come out too total. I would like the exhaust ports welded and a valve job. Hope those heads do good for you.

cost...

I ended up paying around $900 total for all the work done which included welding and porting, unshrouding the valves, and so on.......
