Battery location kit...

What are you guys using? I picked up the Summit SUM-G1200A, but my battery is too big for the box and the hold down clamp.

Im using an optima battery and hold down identical to that shown in the first 4 pics of the link below.

what size cable would be good for battery relocation? Best route for cables?

2 Gauge cable will do. Get about 25 ft. Run the power cable from the front to the trunk, one piece, do not join cable. You can run the ground in the back.

Route, it's up to you, inside or under the car. Just make sure it is well protected because if there is a short you are in big *****.
