Cold Air Intake.....

Ok fellas......i while back i bought a cold air intake for my 89 Super Coupe...anyways....i could not get the thing to work at all.....it is specifically designed(or so-called) for the SC....anyone ever put one in and if so......how do i do this????here is a link from ebay of the same one i bought.....

i don't have that excact kit but lets see. after you to take off the air box you have to take the air silencer off which is underneath, you have to either squeeze thru the fender well or take it off, i turned the wheel to the right and took off the front of the well to get to it. (i'm sure there is an artical) after that i guess you tighten the cone filter to the bottom elbow and stick it thru the hole from the bottem and just clamp the rest together

i couldn't get it on my vehicle at all....i just didn't see any way that the cold air intake would fit.......

Did you take out the old air filter black box? If not, you will need to remove that first. This will give you a lot more space to work with.

Yes, it will fit

I have the same unit on my '92. It is easier to "fit" the sections of the kit together (from top and bottom) with 2 people. Works like a charm when you get it installed......
