*Just got my new Motor Trend mag. today. They have an Archive page at the end. This month it's a '67 Ford Allegro II concept car. 33" cowl height w/41" overall height, not much taller than the ultra-low GT-40 race car. No details of engine, but it has no top and no a-pillar.

*The dumb thing is 'Beetle Conv. -VS- Thunderbird Conv. and the T-bird came in 2nd? They tested them in snow and said VW has better traction?, price?, someone is on crack (is that flaming?)

Lets see (vw-ford)
4cyl - V8,
115hp - 280hp,
13.3 - 6.4 0-60mph,
19.1@72.5 1/4 mile - 14.7@95mph 1/4 mile
FWD -vs- RWD

ThunderSC results Hhhmmm T-bird hands down

* Corvette -vs- Cobra Mustang
vette-cobra
4.72 - 4.86 0-60mph
13.02@109.59 - 13.12@109.58 1/4 mile times
note: MT is bias to corvettes 'remember vette-vs-viper and won?

* last there is a great story of Manx new 2+2 dunebuggy with 200hp VW engine "power-to-weight ratio as Estes model rocket engine tied to a saltine cracker :eek:

one last thing do ya think the 67 concept above looks little like 70 camaro nose?

The First Problem was when you said. "I got my new Motor Trend Magazine." LOL Stick with a real car magazine with accurate testing and good writers. Car and Driver. LOL Just ragging on you some. And I agree about it looking like a Camaro.
