Injector & Fuel Rail Clips

I am installing #42 injectors . having trouble getting the injectors to seat down
on top of the injectors to install the clips.

I put oil on the top of the injectors.I taped on the fuel rail, got two on.

now I have lost one of the clips.where would be a good place to buy clips
for the injectors, that hold them to fuel rail.

I thought this would be the easiest part of installing injectors to go with a
new polished MPII.

I guess thats what I get for thinking.

Randy, when you install the clips, make sure you are putting the clip in the upper groove. If I remember correctly, there are two grooves on the injector that look like the clip will fit. It should go easily in the upper one. If you try to put the clip in the lower groove, it will be very difficult. I hope I'm not remembering that backwards...

Rob Noth your right about the two groves. I have been trying
to get the clips in the top groove.

I am just surprised that the injectors would of been the hardest
part of a blower upgrade.

get the clips from an injector shop.

i don't even have the clips on mine, i lost all of them. 15,000 mi. no leaks. runs, strong and good. if i had them i would have used them though.
