Will non-adj shocks (KYB, etc) fit SC's?

It is looking like I am going to have to go the route of changing my SC over to non-adjustable shocks and struts. I see alot of them for the n/a tbirds, but I have to wonder if these higher performance, non-adjustable's will work on an SC?

If so, which ones are recommended?

Thanks

Phil

Yes, you can disconnect the ride control actuators and install standard shocks. Consensus on this forum would probably be to go with either Koni or Bilstein.

then what's the differ with the front lower control arm between cars with and without ride control?? cuase when i went to get replacement arms, they asked if i had ride control or not..

Or there just no difference and Ford computers are a pain ?? :)

Also if you disconnect the Ride control computer, you'll loose your Varible Assist power steering, WHICH is easilt brought back buy getting the Variable assist module from a V8 car and wiring it in :)

I believe that the bushing material on the arms for the SC and XR7 are a bit stiffer ... mounting dimensions are all the same.
