Brake Problem

When I stop the car while going to make a right hand turn, my front brakes squeek. I'm assuming it's the passenger side.

When I stop with my wheels straight, it rarely does it. When I stop with my wheels facing left to make a left, no squeek. Any ideas? There's enough pad on the fronts so could it be the shield in behind the rotor?

I have new cross drilled and slotted rotors being installed on Monday with new pads.....so I'm hoping that will solve the problem.

Might want to have your mechanic check your hubs on the front for in and out movement and to ensure the hub retaining nuts are tight. Also I see you look to have Cobra R's...sure the wheel is not rubbing on the spindle? Mine did that only when turning into a parking spot due to a small amount of axial play in the right side wheel. I used thin wheel spacers instead of replacing the hub....for now that is.

Thanks Duff....

I just got the rims done Friday and it was doing it even with my old AR rims. When we get them off tomorrow, I'll check the hubs.

Thanks again.
