GVWR: 4885LB/2215KG
FRONT GAWR: 2563LB 1162KG
REAR GAWR: 2345LB 1063KG

(GVWR stands for Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. GAWR stands for Gross Axle Weight Rating.)

Now watch the expression on peoples faces when you tell them that members of the sccoa are doing 13 sec. 1/4's.

Yes our cars only weigh 4000 pounds. That door tag sticker is just the maximum weight capacity the car can handle

i have never seen a door sticker or a title with a weight even close to the actual weight. I understand the door sticker is the GVR and such, but I dont know what the title is talking about. My 93SC with me, 3 - 10' woofers, and 1/4 tank of gas tipped the scales at 4030, so minus 180lbs driver and 100 lbs speakers, you have a roughly 3700 pound car (36XX minus all gas). My TurboCoupe says 3900 on the door, while it weighs 3500 with me and ABSOLUTELY NO GAS. definetly get your car weighed at a truckstop, then you can test the horsepower with a Gtec..... :)
