Hey SC "fans". We are getting close to that time of year
when things heat up. My AC/Heat fan won't blow any air.
For awhile potholes would turn on and turn off. Now its just
off. Obviously there's a short somewhere. Any suggetions
before I start sweating?

thanks in advance! GB

AAAAHHH....what year SC? (Is the signature reflective of the actual situation or just a joke?) Manual AC or Electronic Climate Control. More likely an open circuit condition instead of a short unless you found blown fuse(s) and never mentioned it.

I am not saying this is your problem, but it is something to check.
On my '89 when the fan stopped working, when I removed the
control assembly and looked at where the wires plugged in, right
directly behind the "off" button on the rear of the controls where the plug plugs in, it was severely melted. I ended up by-passing the off button altogether. (Now that I think about it, I used to have to jiggle and play with the off button to get the fan to come on.) You may want to just wiggle and jiggle your off button first to see if the fan comes on.
Of course, you could have a burned out fan also.
