Yesterday I finally got my new sc started.I had to spin it over for
a long time to get it to fire while pumping the gas.took it down the
road it runs good but after warming up when I put it in drive it
will stall. Then it was hard to start again. Today I get in it and it
fires right up but it idles at 2500 rpm bump the throttle and it revs
up to 3000 and stays.Put it in gear and no stalling all of this before it gets warmed up.Any ideas on what could be wrong with
it? Looks like someone has recently replaced the head gaskets
I put a fpr on it and the harmonic balancer looks straight and
true. Ps Man this car is fun to drive!

High idle is generally caused by a sticky/faulty IAC motor. It's the Idle Air Control motor that mounts on the throttle body.

did u ever remove your throtle position sensor if u did make sure u installed correctly. when u dont install it correctly the little notch that turns the throtle position sensor gets stuck and or cant turn so check that it might be it
