Synthetic aerosol spray?

Could someone recommend a brand of synthetic lubricant in an aerosol spray?

I tried using "Liquid wrench with Teflon" on my rubber bushings, but was told NOT to use this since it still has a petroleum base.

So I want to spray my bushings with truly synthetic lubricant.

Is "prestone silicone spray" considered a synthetic lubricant? I've used it on my rubber weather stripping to clean and revitalize it.

I found some stuff an NAPA that had no petroleum products in it. Don't recall the name. You might also check exercise supply stores or even Sears. Places that sell treadmills, as they usually will also sell a lubricant for the belt on the treadmill. That's what I got my stuff for, to lubricate the belt for a treadmill.

Go to the hardware store & look for some synthetic white lithium spray. Also, superlube is fully synthetic.

The problem with any amount of petroleum in the spray is it dry rots rubber. If you are unsure about whether a peticular aerosol has petroleum components, check the back for warnings about petroleum distilates. These are toxic & any product containing them should have a warning.
