Ryan, the bolt to use is p/n F58Z 6A340-A. It's actually a Windstar number, used for pretty much all the 3.8s from mid-95 up. Just a bit long than the original one, which is now discontinued from Ford , and was (and maybe this was why they snap on an SC motor) an old 2.3L Pinto part !!!!!
cheers

Ryan,
My balancer is a BHJ unit, and it'll have that crank bolt which Ed mentioned.
Buy the stock one if you need one, like $350 CAN.

Oh, I didn't know you were pulling the motor.
Who is doing it and why is it coming out, HGs?
Also, a BHJ is over $600 CAN +shipping +tax.
Make sure to ship USPS and save another $50 or so.
