I hardly ever post because nothing ever goes wrong with my car. Until now. Disaster has struck.
One of my mufflers wore out.
Oh dear. How will I handle this?
I thought the passenger Dynomax had just a hole. Well the immense horsepower I produce just blew the patch right off. Turns out the muffler inlet pipe had rotted apart frm the inside. I rescued a slightly but reusable pipe clamp and after some gentle #$%#@ persuasion I wrestled the scrap metal muffler off.
So, now I'm running with a muffler on the driver side and straight pipe out the passenger side.
Shyuuuuh, know what? Uh huh! It actually sounds pretty cool. It's drony, but not annoyingly loud. Nice V8 rumble which only a precious few of us can appreciate.
I might take the other muffler off and try that out for a while. Maybe got a few more top end horsepower.
I'll get tired of the sound after a while and spend a lot fr a stainless system of some sort.
I'm like the Maytag repair man. Still waiting for my engine to blow apart so I can talk for six months about my great engine rebuild.
I liked the picture of Wayner, Les, and Bill.

Rusty, white, NOS, 1992 SC, Wendy's and BK garbage in the rear seat, somewhere in Markham.

For anyone who doesn't know, I'm not really Wayne.

4.6 humour...... My car no longer has NOS so you'll have to change your username. Without mufflers your car will likely sound like that red one from Kentucky (?) that you raced in Oakville. Are you going to bring that beast to the track this year and try to break into the 14's?

I think reaching 3000 is something for Ontario members to be proud of. The national technical forum barely reaches 3000 at any point throughout the year.

When I first came here, we had less than 800. We have come a long way in a short time. Hopefully people from other forums will continue to visit our forum as we get more people to continue posting.

I appreciate all the help I have been offered so far.

Thx.
