It's a pretty straight forward job. It is located on the passenger side of the block down by the motor mount. There is a large metal shield around it. Should take about an hour if you fall asleep under the car for 45 minutes Make sure you get the correct part number. Ford changed the knock sensors around a bit and I believe to use the only one available you need an adapter that screws into the existing hole (somebody back me up on this). I cannot remember all of the details. You may or may not have to take the current adapter out of the block and install a new one. If so have a drip pan ready as all of the coolant is going to come pouring out of the block. I would stay out of the boost until you can get it replaced just to be safe.
