Can this tranny?

i am wondering....for the regular 3.8ltr automatic transmissions....are they the same as the ones in the SC....because i can get a tranny from a regular 3.8 t-bird but im not sure if its the same tranny or not....

No, they aren't the same. It would bolt up just fine, but it's not the same. It has a few things that have been beefed up to handle the extra power. The SC's had the code "A" AOD. The N/A ones I think had the code "C". That's what Mustangs had anway. Not totally sure on that.

ok what are the other differences? No one ever says anything buy the servo thing. Are the rebuild kits the same, and what about the torque converters?
