Im curious about the eec tuners-do they stay hooked to the car, or is it a plug and play thing where you program the comp. only once, and again if you make changes-if its the latter-is it possible to have someone tune your car with one without actually keeping it-or does it stay hooked up? If you can just tune it-would anyone want to change my fan turn on points, etc. for e-thanks.

It has to stay hooked up to the car. It's kinda like a chip except it can reprogrammed over and over while in the car if you have a laptop.

To make the C&L MF and 180 t-stat work correctly, you really should have it.

The MSD DIS-4 is pretty much pointless... even moreso if you have the tuner.

I'd make these my next mods if I were you:

1.) 255 lph forced induction fuel pump
2.) 42 lb injectors
3.) EEC Tuner

and install them all at once. The Tuner will make it run alot better with the big MAF and injectors.

Good luck,
Steve

suggestions

what else am i going to have to do in addition to the listed and futur mods to get into the 12's-given the 255 pump and injectors-whats it gonna take-im willing to take my motor apart, and should be willing to spend whatevers necessary over time to have the ultimate car. any and all suggestons ae welcome-not just engine, but driveline mods too. mike.
