Chris,

What size are the pipe connections ? I've never seen one that looks like that, does the company you bought it from have a webpage ?

Either way I'm really interested in hearing how well it works.

I was considering a similar set-up after seeing almost that exact intercooler in the showcase at a local speedshop in Toronto. All they do is forced induction applications that consist mostly of Talonss and RX7s. The guy told me I could sit that intercooler up and down right where the stock I/C sits, and then run the upper and lower tube configuration. He said they are good for 700 HP, but I'm very hesitant to go with a liquid I/C. When I have the patience to relocate the battery, and buy all the plumbing, I might consider it. For now, I'll stick to the nicely polished double I/C that Chris just made me (thanks buddy!).

At least someone else did it before me....so I'd have someone to learn from! Looks good Chris.....can't wait to see it at Carlisle.

Here is the site I got it from
http://www.andrewsimportperformance.com/ic.htm#pwr
Got it in 2 Days.

This is the 6x10 the largest they make, the cost is a little over $700 with shipping.
Has 3" inlets & outlets the over all length is 19" & They outflow
the Spearco liquid ICs.

Im going to mount it up front where I had the front mount
air to air. with the same piping setup.
I'll let you know what numbers I get on the Dyno here in a few days.

front mount

are you keepin your old front mount or selling it-if the latter-how much? thanks man-mike.

Chris,

It should work much better than the front mount if you get a good heat exchanger, pump and coolant resivour. I was looking around for your cooler using google yesterday and ran across a company called absoluteradiator.com that sells them and also offers a kit that has the heat exchanger and some other stuff. Here's a picture.

Please take some pictures after it's installed.

re

That pump kit ids like 500 bucks
I think im going to use my AC condenser for now I have the
shorter one like George Davenports I don't use the Air anyways.

then going to use a RV pump that rated at 3 gpm
then all I need is a resivour any ideas on where to get one at..

Chris

Chris,

Your going to run coolant through the AC condensor ?? I've never heard of anyone doing that before, but I suppose it could work. I think the most popular coolant tank is the one like Duane's car has for his alky/water injection system. I believe it's made by Vortech, here's a recent picture.

If the AC condensor doesn't work out, here are some pictures of the heat exchanger in Chris Wise's car that might give you some ideas.
