I called ford to see how much a 4 oz. bottle of supercharger fluid and the quoted me $18. I called my local Chevy dealer and they quoted me $6 for the same size bottle.

I would imagine that if I my supercharger was completely full of the chevy fluid that would be ok, but is it ok to mix the ford SC fluid and the chevy fluid.....I hope so because I did just that....it hasn't locked up yet.

has anyone else ever done this.....I refuse to pay 3 times the amount for the same bottle.

Yes it's okay to mix them....both are Eaton superchargers. If you really want to get the best price...visit the nearest small airport and buy a quart of BP2380 turbine oil. This is the stuff they put in gas turbine and jet engines, and it's superior to the fluid Ford and GM sell. It cost around $8 a quart.

Good find on the turbine stuff. In case you aren't near a small airport, you can also use Redline synthetic power steering fluid, also about $8 per quart. According to Redline it meets all the requirements for the Ford fluid. I used it for a while, no problems.
