How to kill the EGR check engine code (new headers)
Hey all, I just slapped some second-rate headers onto my '94 and they didn't have a fitting for an EGR tube... I tried blocking the lines behind the plenum and even disconnecting the sensor alltogether.
The computer got pissed off both times...
I've heard that the only way to fix this is with and EEC tuner; deleting the EGR code from the brain alltogether and am wondering if anyone else has come across a solution without coughing up the dough for a tuner...
Thanks!
