Anyway it seems the fast and the furious were out tonight..I saw two civics lined upso I figured Id take the third lane..Welll I got both of em however one kept up within ten cars of me..Next light the dude is reving his motor...I say..ehhhh Lemme go for it..Iwas going to turn but decieded to go..Well my tranny is acting al l****ed up and slipping but hey its a civic. He gets me off the line...Instead of catching him he continues to gradually pull on me and stays about 5 cars ahead when I finally start to gain slightly...By then he let off I kept going and anyway.....Almost 1/4 mile and I definately had my *** handed to me!!!!!..Must have been n2o..He even gave me the dreaded hazzards..Perhaps if my tranny wasnt slipping I woulda got him...But I dunno....,.ARGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...im so ashamed!!!

holy crap, next time hit your brakes and pace him by like 15-20 car lengths away, from his rear view he wont be able to tell if you're gaining or not:rolleyes: :D
(they cant tell if you're just teasing them or they can pull on you;) )
Never ever pass a car that just outran you also:eek: :p
 
Gotta keep....

Got to keep a red light in your car and place it on dash so that yopu can tell him you are intrapping him for drag racing. Then throw his keys away and drive off!!!!!!!

Well, I once too had a great race with a civic. During the winter we both where flling up with at gas(94 Octane for him too:D ). SO we payed at the same time. We pull out and paly for awhile down a stetch of road. So we finally get a red light. We pull off(I still can't drive so I had a small problem with traction{add on the facts I had snow tires, full tank of gas, but he did too, and about 100 puonds in the trunk of parts}). Ok, the civic didn't win, but holy-crap it was loud as hell, and kept up for almost the whole race. He stayed rights at my passengers window, never less, never more. Anyway we talked at the next light, I say" SIR" he rplies "yes". The cars can go fats, just with some more work. People always bash the "honda crowd". Some of there cars will whoop ours. But some of ours will do the same damage. Oh well, same as the V8 thing to us, I guess.
 
I think the Honda Dx model with the fartcan exhaust hacked springs and Eurolights all the way arround is the Honda that sucks. But you are correct they make some very fast very light cars that use half the gas we do. Now whos dumb???
 
I feel your pain damon...I lost to what seemed to be a stock honda with a fart pipe.

Ended up beating my car by a couple car lengths...my trannys not in great shape and I wasnt driving so that may of helped(my cousin likes to just floor it from a start) We talked to the kid and he had some kind of crate engine and said he does 60 in like 5.9....well once i get my tranny rebuilt id like a rematch with me driving:cool:
 
I saw some last night running 14.5's. So some of them are not too shabby. Ugly but still quick.
 
My condolences on your unfortunate loss....it reminds me of when I lost (barely, but still a loss) to a 'supped up' neon witn NO2 driving my 89...I had a reason, but even then It sucked. My CAM sensor was loose and I didnt know, so I had no tach reading and when I would slam on the gas the car would start shaking at WOT. I felt awful...it was humiliating. I guess he took it as revange as a few weeks earlier I had extraordinarily dusted his *** with two other people in my car. I felt much better when a few weeks later while driving to NY on I-95 north I actually whitnesed how his front end got smashed when some construction material fell from a truck that was driving in front of him. OH well...i'll too take on a couple of ricers on your honor...on my 94 cuz the 89 is still being a b*tch and doesnt want to start
 
All I can say is a civic with a turbo setup is WICKED! I have a friend with this setup on his hatchback and well he's turning times by as much as .5 better than the SC! I however know that the MAJORITY of the rice on the streets is a joke but the ones that are for real always get a tip of the hat from me.

It all comes down to weight. Strap 4 lard asses in his car and fill up his trunk and then race him :)

Ok so Imusta raced 15 fart can civics tonight..Even with my fooked tgranny I toasted them all//Hmmpph..REVENGE!....And my freind said Ionly lost by about 2-3 cars and I was pulling when he let off..Stiiiilll..::shakkin hewad::

As if the ricer-invasion isn't bad enough on its own, 2F2F doesn't help anything either. FWIW, I once lost to a 1987 Escort GT with NOS, which is an infinitely more embarassing loss than to a Civic. (Granted, I was in my Escort at the time, but still...)

Now go hit the Bully and represent!
 
yeah those darn ricers
