Just changed the clutch, pressure plate, trowout bearing, rear main seal, tailshaft seal, and slave cylinder. Now I have no clutch pedal, tried bleeding as shown in ford manual, still no pedal. Does the tube on the bleeder have to be fed back into the master cylinder reservior? Seems like I get a half a pedal then none.Is my master cylinder for the slave cylinder no good? Book says there shouldn't be any free play in the pedal, but mine has always had free play. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob Correa. P.S. aprox.4.5 hrs to do clutch, book gives 9hrs.

Bleeding the clutch...

I had to replace the hydraulic line (black plastic) from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder last weekend. It took me about 1/2 hour to fully bleed all the air from the clutch system. I think your problem is still in the bleeding area. However, it would not hurt to check the master cylinder for leakage.
