Well finally had the beast running tonight, no driving but at least running.

The bad news: the cam is indeed monster only pulls 10" vaccum, also the tack jumps wildly when you goose the gas but the motor does not do anything funny.

The good news: the cam is indeed monster so look out. The home ported blower pegs 14lbs instantly when you hit the go pedal. Also no damage was done to the trans as it goes in and out of gear flawlessly (it was possible that when I installed my converter wrong i could have wrecked the font pump).

Well thats it for now from me, expect to hear more later when the exhaust is done.

well I'm not to sure how that blower turned out after all. Anyway if it isn't going to work out I'l have to put the other blower back on.

Congradulations! I'm so glad to hear that it is all back together and running. Is that with the new balancer? I guess you are waiting to get the exhaust done before you put the Kooks headers on?

Is the blower making funny noises or something?

the kooks are on already that is why I need new exhaust. I can;t make a final call on the blower until i am out driving the car. The balancer is still an old style, the BHJ balancer's are being made now because there was a delay with people paying thier money on the group buy.

Sebastien,

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

...I guess if you make the trip back to my place now, it'll take a fraction of the time, eh?

I hope everything works out OK in regards to that home ported blower, and the rest of the exhaust work. ...but it sounds like all your hard work is going to pay off big dividends!

I'm looking forward to watching you rip that baby down the quarter mile some time soon.

I'm really hoping to get my ride back on the road soon too!

Best regards,

Sean

P.S. Did you manage to send off that ported intake manifold yet? I'm just wondering if I need to get Alecia to pick it up for me while I'm gone. I won't be home until Friday evening, so no rush. Again, thanks!
