Anyone have the AC delete part number...

It is the plastic 7 rib pulley and aluminum bracket for the 3.8L Mustang. Looking for the Ford part number to check on availability around here.

This is the 6 rib like XR7 Dave uses:

AC Delete Pulley
Try a Ford # E7TZ 8678-D, or Motorcraft YS-159. That's a 6-rib about 38 bucks. you have to modify the back hole, and cut 2 ribs off your belt.

I haven't seen the number for 7 rib. Maybe Fast Ed N can help.

Just an idea :D Have you guy who just must delete the compressor thought about gutting the compressor and then cutting off the back part of the front half? That way, you get to use the whole 8-rib belt. When the compressor isn't engaged, its just another pulley that rides over the clutch plate and doesn't add any more drag than the tensioners do.

my reasons for deleting ac (supercoupe motor in 98 stang )

1. its a vert. (i know this doesn't apply to birds)
2. it would be a nightmare to custom make hoses for it (same as above)
3. ac condensers block air flow
4. i like to be able to change the # 1 &2 spark plugs :D(i have big hands)

Doesn't sound very pretty.
Hmmm... you may be right.. but with a little degreaser, who knows? :D :D

The whole thing is about 6-8 lbs. Note the lack of clutch plate, and drive shaft.
