Was drivin down the highway tonight and all of a sudden out of no where this pack of Crown Vic and Marauders goes by me. I counted in total about 20 cars, damn was it sweet. When the highway curved a bit I could see the whole line up of Vic's. Some had radio antenna's so they could communicate, and I saw one car with portable walkie talkies, and another Vic had a video Camera going. A lot of them looked like undercover cops, all blacked out and such, one was black with white doors and the plate said IMNOCOP on it. All cars were US cars, ranging from New Jersey, to NY and a few other states as well, very diverse.
Call it a hunch but my bet is they were caravaning to the FORD 100th Annivcersary celebration.
Damn it is every exciting to watch a pac of FORD driving down the highwal all together. The owned the highway. Very SWEET! :D

Maybe they were going to Port Dover?

My guess would be they were headed to St. Thomas for the Anninversary. Those cars are built there.

A group of Fords going to a tiny town to meet up with 20,000 Bikers?.......I'd say they were going to St Thomas.:)

Guess again! They say the sleepy town of Port Dover grows from its usual population of around 5500 people, to near 100,000 people every Friday the 13th!!! That's a little more than 20,000 Bikers. ;)

Right on the money Sean. I live 2km off of Hwy #6, which is the direct route to Port Dover from the North and East. I can see the highway from my office here at work as well, and man there is bike after bike since last night heading that way. I'm glad I don't live there. Most people that do, don't even go to work on these days because the police won't let cars through unless they have a really good reason. You have to show ID that you live there and then they "might" let you in.

Dale,
I live just off Hwy 6 where it leaves Hamilton, and I've been seeing the same thing since yesterday morning. It's nuts!

100,000 people! I don't think the town can hold all of those folks. That would be a lot of spectators, so maybe they were going there.
Anyway, what I ment was that I doubt that the "Crown Vic/Marauder Club" are driving to what is usually seen as an all biker event, attended by bikers, their women, friends, and bike lovers.
But hey, I have been wrong many times before.:)

Ya, 100,000 people is a lot to cram into Port Dover, but they do it.
Sean, next time you guys are doing some car "stuff" at your place, you'll have to give me directions. I'd love to actually meet some of the members. I live just outside of Hagersville now, so a trip to your place wouldn't be a big deal. Thanks.
Dale.

Thanks for noticing!
They went to Ford's St. Thomas Assembly Plant, birthplace of Crown Victorias and Grand Marquis. It was for the second annual pilgrimage. From there, they took a side trip to Ford's 100th celebration.
