Hey y'all. Just checking in to let you know I'm still alive. Just been very busy the past few weeks. For those that don't know, I moved to Lithia Springs a couple of weeks ago. The girlfriend and I got a nice apartment out here (although no where to work on the SC...but Mama's house in Villa Rica is still close by).

On top of my moving and her moving and all, I've been doing some minor work on my '65 T-Bird, which I have decided to put up for sale (spread the word!) Hopefully I can get something newer...a Honda or something, that I can drive to work and all, so I don't have to drive a Super Coupe every day.

Work has also been kicking my a$$ lately, keeping me nice and busy. By the time I get home, I'm just ready to crash!

Anyway, I hope to have a little more free time here soon, as I get settled into the new place. I've been meaning to update the website for some time now, so maybe I can get around to that, as well as show up to some meets soon. It's about time we put together another big one like the Chattanooga meet last year. Also, I think that the VTCI event that's coming up in Warner Robbins in Sept would also be a good event to participate in.

Hopefully we can get something put together here soon.

You know i was just thinking about that Chattanooga meet last year. Definitely need to do that again. Anything you guys wanna add to it or change?
That VTCI sounds like a fun one. I wouldnt mind going but since im the "outcast" around here I cant exactly show mine at a show like that.

Well, I guess were about 1/2 foot above normal rainfall and about a foot under all that water. Well almost. We've been rained out 3 weekends in a row in the Summit E/T series. The good news is I've still got a tie for the points lead. This weekend is looking better so I'll be back at Atlanta Dragway this saturday and next. There's plenty of room to do a picnic/cookout in the pits. I'd love to do Chattanooga again. August may have several points races on saturdays that I'll be committed to since we've had so many rainouts. Labor day saturday?

Heck, why dont we just make it the whole weekend. Thats's when the national met is going to be but since its supposedly going to be out west this year I doubt any of us will be going to it anyway. Maybe we can go as far as make it the alternative for those of us in the east.

Labor day weekend would work, let me see whats all going on here in the Chattanooga area, like if our AA baseball team the Lookouts are in town ect. This will give us something to do for a more family event if we wanted to.
