Hello,
This has to be the most exciting car club I have ever been involved with. All this excitement is going to give this old man a heart attack:rolleyes:  .

You could always come up and help me install the rest of my parts :p. That is, once I get a flywheel that actually works .

Things have even slowed on our Forum.

Although, we're having a tech meeting this Saturday which looks like it's going to have good participation. ;)

I've had my pacemaker turned down because the excitement has bee too much for this old man. Its just the usual, too much work and not enough play makes this Hwycoper a real grumpy bear. So beware don't feed the bears.

As far as the SilverBird, finally got the pistons a couple of weeks ago. One small problem: Coy never sent the rings and bearings.

He promised them for last week. Since the tech meet's at Mike's, I'll get a look at where it's at now.

Sergio, where in SJ are you located? I live in San Mateo but I work down in Santa Clara. There are a bunch of SC guys here in the south bay, we should all get together one of these days after work for dinner or maybe help out if anyone needs work on their SC. We just need a place, who's got a house they want to volunteer, we'll promise not to do too many burnouts on their street! :D

I live 20 seconds from 101 and blossom hill. I would love it if we all go out to eat after a day of work. Lol, i don't have work, but i wish i did. I'm sure the guys down on the east side of San Jose are willing to go out to have dinner. I'm sure down with it. Lets see, should i pick a date for we can all get a little get together? I would think that eating at a place like RedRobben or something would be good, pretty cheap plus alot of food that will inscrease your chances of a heart attack:) What do you guys think, in the Bay Area.

This reminds me of when I used to live down in SJ. In fact I have a little section about it on my website.

Yep those were the good old days. We need another place to hang out like that, I think it would help get people more involved with the club.

BTW on your web page I think you meant to say I was in the low 14's, not low 13's :) But maybe eventually that will be true...

You all think it's bad there? At least you all meet once and a while. I have tried to get people together out here in Phoenix and it's like pulling teeth. There are a great bunch of guys out here but it been a tough road to get going. I hope it picks up soon. I''l be a part of the Nor Cal gang next year if everything stays on track and I can move back. I do get to come visit this comming week. Nice and cool there.

Is my Sc broken? . . . . . Nope! :D

Is my Sc being upgraded? . . . . . Nope! ;)

Is my Sc still "pink"? . . . . . Yup! :D

Just tormenting others on the road! :D

Rich, hope to see you around Sacramento when you get here. We might not do a lot, but a few of us get together from time to time to just hang out / race at Sac Raceway / cruse to somewhere on the spur of the moments / go help another work on their Sc.

Again, it sounds great. I really look forward to it. I kind of wish I was driving in this weekend. Flying is a bit faster though. I plan on getting into Sac tomarrow, head to Santa Cruz and SF on Tues for the day. Then back to Sac till fri morn then I'm headed to Loon lake for some drinking and campin with some friends. Flying back to Phoenix on the 29th. Wheww! busy! I wish I could make the Rio Vista cruz. Your meeting at the Mickey D's near where I used to live. I was down near Freeport and Fruitridge. Have fun.
