Hey this is nick
Im back my buddy was up here while i was at school.
I dont know aboyut the starting faster cause i wasent here to witness it but i know my battery is charged now.
We went over some documents online and one had a test for hooking a wire from the ground to the crank sensor or somthing and it should blink but mine didnt so im guessing Crank sensors now which is odd cause my upshift light doesnt stay on while cranking.
As far as the junk yard Jason its at Central Parkway and Burnhamthorpe in Mississauga, i have no idea what kinda condition the cars are in now cause there was car being pilled upon cars and what not but thats where it is if u wanna check and as far as i know by the body they were 92-93 N/A 3.8s
Replacing Cranksensor on friday when it comes in and ill keep u posted.

Nick,
When I was referring to the cam stator, I did not mean to replace the sensor. Although there is certainly no harm in replacing things for preventive maintenance purposes, it is the position of the shaft that the sensor must read from that you should be concerned with. The shaft will insert into the timing cover and line up with the oil pump in several different positions, only one of which is correct to begin the proper starting sequence of fuel and spark.
I'm still willing to bet this may be the problem. If the sensor itself was working before the HG job (beginning to sound like a broken record), there is no reason it shouldn't work now! Investigate this possibility and rule it out before moving on and spending money on more sensors. You may replace them all and achieve nothing.
You have fuel and spark, so try the stator next.

My buddy told me that odds are that the cam stator is okay because the entire engine was covered in small markings to show where things were before the disassembly and the cam Stator had it too.
Still no one has told me how to check for this, how do i check ! heehehehhe
Either way
Im hopeing for the best

Nick,
If it was marked before disassembly, then it is possible the stator was installed correctly. The only way you can check the position is with the actual alignment tool from Ford, or by having another engine (or a picture of one, I suppose) that you can match it to. You see, as you insert the stator and it becomes engaged with the oil pump and cam, it turns through this process until its final position. As long as they marked the final position, and got the stator to line up properly in its final stage, then you should be okay. Ask specific questions of them to receive specific answers.
