how come i can lay a better strip in my sister's 4 banger suzuki x-90 than my SC?

Everytime in my SC, i either launch or have wheel hop!

I laid a patch today with the 4 banger, all the way from 3000rpm to 6500rpm, with full gas. no brainer to do... but my SC is a brat that won't show a double black line!

Well, I know wheel hop is fairly typical on the 5 speeds. Some guys get bags for the rearend to keep the wheel hop to a minimum. I wish I could say more, but being I have an auto, I have no "REAL" personal experience on this. I don't see why you couldn't light the tires though. I assume you are experimenting with different RPM ranges when you attempted this?

Unless it's wet or my tires are really cold a straight line burnout set the wheels hopin' like no tomorrow.

Gonna try the airbag thing but I understand even that is not a complete fix.

Try not to dump the clutch at too high of RPM's...You want it just right to get a little ill. If the RPM'S are too high, you'll be hoppin all over the place. Even start it out with a brake stand then let off the brakes, Your sure to have the posi strip bein laid down. None of that one wheel peel. And please don't say that a suzuki is layin better horror than an SC. If you want, You can call me up , and I'll come by your house and get a lil crazy... The neighbors will want you to leave the neighborhood after I'm done... haha -Pat

Well, the eazy thing with the 'zuki is the fact all i need to do is dump the clutch. i figured out with the sc that dumping the clutch is just plain dumb. i have to feather the clutch and gas like i'm trying to get into gear normally but with liberal throttle.

I can't really do a brakestand: my front brakes aren't good and my rears are brand new (new calipers, pads, and kvr rotors). If I try to do a brakestand it ends up being a stall because the rears are clamping perfectly.

I have done really well with pulling out burnouts lately, left my signature a few places, though i honestly thought it'd be thick black obvious patches instead of wimpy light ones.
