Mike, I love going to the track just to watch, so I'd attend if the timing allows.

I'll be going to New England for a couple weeks next Wednesday, but if I can't make it this time, I'll make it the next. Cheers.

Street drags(test and tune) every Wednesday and Friday nights. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess we'll be doing a Friday night.

$15 to run
$10 to watch
Kids under 12 free(a good thing for me!)
6:00pm to 10:30pm

Mike, how many runs can you usually get in on a test/tune night?
And if Rj won't drag you I will, I'm not afraid to lose, no matter how bad. Maybe you could start out in 2nd gear. Will they do dial ins for a grudge race, I've seen that done at other tracks? Also, do they show the times for everyone? I went to a track recently to watch on a test/tune day and they didn't display what any of the cars were running, very annoying to me.

Ok, you guys are trying to make me feel bad!!! I don't know if I can walk the 8 miles a day to work!!!

A group got together 2 years ago and went to OSW on a Sunday for the runs and they were showing what everybody had.. To bad they don't still do it on Sunday during the day, we'd probably have more people participate..

Ok guys, sorry I started a thread and took a week to get back to ya. Kurt is right 15 to run 10 to watch. And now that its summer they will be having midight runs every third saturday of the month, If you all are interested let me know. Or if you prefer a true test and tune wed is the best night for that, not half as many folks, less competition=more runs, midnight runs less runs=more hondas to smash!! Kurt your on! I respect a man who will try. Kamakazie, In my original post when I said I was gonna drag ya, I meant drag ya ALONG, you are the closest to me in location. But since you dont want to run...and you said your self your too old...I wont rag on ya:rolleyes: .Any way Let me know what you want to do. Oh yeah Instead of getting that crappy 106 unleaded Im gonna be running blue gel octane if anyone wants some let me know and Ill pick it up at powered by ford for them. I think its 2 1/2 oz per tank to get you to 110 octane unleaded. They sell 110 at the track but its leaded, thats no good. Its 4$ an oz. So folks if we go I will sponsor a Barbq at my house before we go, I live down the road so if you all want to like I said let me know. Sc-yall lata

I'm going to have to go this Wednesday or Friday. I'm hoping to start a new job next week so I need to go in case my new schedule doesn't work out for racing. I know not many, if any, will make it this week, but I'll be up for any future dates, I just don't know what my schedules going to be.

Mike, I'd like to get in about 5 or 6 runs, at least 4. Is that reasonable to expect for a Friday or will it need to be Wednesday? I remember going on a Wednesday back in 87' and we were making a run and driving right back up to the start if we wanted to. I'm not looking to run that much, but that was fun to do once.
