View Full Version : Just bought a Japanese Truck

well I did it. I bought my father in laws 1990 Nissan King cab pick em up truck. I figured that anybody that owns a Super Coupe or XR-7 should have at least 1 extra vehicle:D
the truck is mint
190000km's
if any of you have met my father in law he's the dude with the white hair that has been to the track with me a few times. He is anal about keeping things serviced and in good working order. With the truck I get all of the spreadsheets he has kept for such things as fuel economy, service intervals and repairs.:D

I think the only time this truck has had the tires even chirped is when he was trying to teach Joanna how to drive about 8 years ago:)

bottom line the truck is like new with exception to a broken door handle

Those things sure are durable!

My buddy Peter had one until about 320,000km. The parts can get pricey for OEM, but it ran like a top for a LONG time.

I'll vouch for the durability, 315Km on my Pathfinder & still going strong.

when you buy a nissan your buying pure quality, my dad has had 2 maxima's now a 96 5 spd and now a 2004 6 spd, talk about luxury power, the whole deal,, then there is the 350z,,, or better yet the G35 2 door coupe my uncle bought
