bird out of control - headed for fire sale

been a while since I posted. Finally got back to the 90. Rebuilt motor installed in car. It would only start/rock/roll/spit and shut down. After exhauting all suggestions from the site. Took the engine back down to heads. Checked timing gear/crank setup the works. Put it all back together/sealed all tubes up all metal surfaces. Had three "so called" master technicians look over the work in progress. Tried to start Sat. Same deal, crank/rattle/spit and shut down. Change computer, nothing. Any ideas you guys may have for some dumb thing I might have done to cause this or idea what might be causing this. I know third time is the charm, but after the second time - I'm not real eager for a third go.

Not for sure, but you may want to check the ground wires.

one large and one small wire on the front of the passenger
motor mount.

And i think one large wire on the driver side front of motor mount.

Go to this post. sccoa.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25870

If this does't work regular gas is the cheapest and book matches, for the fire.:D

good luck RANDY

did you add any new intake parts??

I know when I put my new engine in , I had a hell of a time getting it running. THe biggest offender seem to be the new tb. until I got that set, It wouldn't run for crap.
