Magnum Powers can rebuild your early or late model Eaton blower and save you money! The rebuild consists of a complete tear down, a detailed inspection of all components, replacement of the front and rear bearings, a new nose seal, fresh supercharger oil and reassembly of the unit and pressure test.

This would explain my issue with the coupler. Go figure.

Is it just me, or does it sound like they don't touch the cartridge bearings??? When they say they do a "replacement of the front and rear bearings", I'm thinking they mean the two bearings in the snout, and the pair of bearings in the rear of the case. That's kind of scary, don't you think? For that money, I would want to know that the blower is totally fresh, especially when most people that buy the MPII blower have every intention of overdriving it by 5% or 10%, or perhaps more if they're running the ESM jackshaft and quickchange setup!

...Of course, if in fact they don't replace the cartridge bearings, then that makes me all the more leary of doing it as part of a blower rebuild by Jason and I. We've already got one of Jason's blowers pulled completely apart, so we'll give it a shot, but re-timing the rotors could be interesting.

Anybody else with thoughts on this???

I have since put that blower back together just to see if you can time them and it's as easy as 1 2 3. I'm trying to find the seals and then all Ineed it is barings and I will test mine for 2 to 4 weeks or so. We need to find the seal and I know who makes it now.

All of thir prices also went up by $100 US per blower.That hurts the most!
