Has anyone ordered from www.bluetonguemotorsports.com, more specifically has anyone ordered their ZR Motorsport Thunderbird Induction Kit? Any feedback on service, quality & performance is greatly apprciated. Or am I better off with buying the MAC Cold Air setup?

ZR-SC-AP7 - MEGA Induction Kit $199.99

I bought mine used too. Very happy with it so far looks great, sounds better than the mn12 performance intake that I had on before. Easy to install. I really like the look where the cone is not the first thing that sticks out when you open the hood. But that's only my opinion.:D

I bought mine new from ZR Motorsports (when they existed) I'm sure you'll get the same quality from Blue Tongue. As soon as I put it on I could feel the car had more torque and the sound under that hood turns heads. Installs pretty easy, although the rubber hose connections can be a bit of a bitch to fit on the tube and Maf. I had to heat the rubber up a bit to get them on. The other part I like about it is the Filter actually ends up below the engine compartment and sucks in cooooool air. Buy it, you'll like it.

I bought the ZR new not to long ago,

I personally, wasnt to pleased with it, i think somethings could have been built better

the plumbing for the drivers side PCV system into the intake does not have a nipple, and the stock hose is not long enough, you have to replace the line with a longer one and rig up a nipple of your own, at the same time its a good idea to RTV the rubber gromet to the intake, as it came off and lodged itself between my air flap in my TB and gave me a good scare while driving..

The piece that goes from the MAF to the air filter is just your everyday plastic plumbing off the shelf from your local friendly home hardware...

the mounting bracket is not polished its just flat black
and the intake itself doesnt actually mount to the flat piece at all, it just goes through it and dangles there.

I had looked into making 1 myself, and I think now I could have done alot better, would have gone with a 3.5 tube also like the MAC intake, instead of the ZR 3"

but oh well, moneys spent, its on the car, polished up again.. can hear my blower more, i guess thats all that counts.
