Hey guys, need your opinion.

These are my valve cover's. I'm hung up on which finish to go with:

i like chrome, since it will match your ic tube and top.

It will be the better contrast with the heads and the rest of the chrome you have. I would paint quite a bit that color.

I'd go with the blue, chrome and blue fit together nicely, and its true you barely notice them. But hey its a nice touch of class. Also where are you getting these valve covers from? Im going to redo my engine very soon and would like to get some of those valve covers(blue/chrome). Thanks man.

fake chrome spray paint makes baby jesus cry.

aren't our valve covers magnesium? has anyone seen old polished magnesium wheels from the 60's? they have a nice gold look. could you polish them just the same?

Unless u have blue hoses, wires or engine paint, go w/ the chrome, u should post a pic of wut it looks like as of now so we can see which on fits in better

Actually, it's not "fake chrome spray" It's aluminum VHT engine paint that just happened to turb out like chrome when sprayed on. I just got it to paint my manifolds and I was supprised when I saw the finish.

My engine is in pieces right now, so I can't get any pics as of yet.

I got these valve covers off my car. I'm doing my heads :(

Go with the blue. Good Contrast. See if you can get some mixed to match your engine bay paint color. that would really set it off. My boss has his mustang engine painted like that.

Somewhere in the forum is an engine, timing cover, and water pump painted that blue I believe. Looked good next to the Al heads as I recall.
