How many modded SC's do we have in NE, and what have you done to them?

Until recently I've been just tinkering with mods like air box, TB, custom intake tube, and an old Bill Hull SCCOA 2-1-2 exhaust that just never fit right.

About 3 years ago I started my own engineering firm and the end of last year finally got to take some decent money out (quite abit more than the wife knows about) and I've gone crazy. Currently in the works are new bottom end with forged parts, PP head with oversized valves, new blower, inlet plenum, TB, MAF, blower top from Magnum Powers, double IC, 42# injectors, headers etc, etc.

I'm definately chasing a dream, feel like a little kid every time a box shows up in the mail and can't wait to get my block and heads back from the shop.

The only thing I'm worried about now is finding enough time away from work to put the thing together (70+ hours at the office just about every week).

Dude, talk about being in the same boat paddling up the same stream. My car has been laid up for a long time now. A little over a year now. It's really started to slow down now though. All of a sudden I have been flooded with bills so the next couple of weeks will be a struggle. After that I can get a move on again! I'm working on a Coy Stage II bottom end and Dr. Fred heads and cam. I am hoping to be around 425 hp, but I still have some work ahead of me. Hopefully it will be coming together in the next month or so......I have even thought about selling the thing I have lost so much ambition, but some how I just keep holding on .........

Once it gets back together I know I'll be alright...BTW, have you done anything with your tranny yet?

I swapped out the sychros to brass and while back and have a dual friction clutch. I hope the tranny with hold up the way it is but I will be doing a Ripper shifter when it goes back together.

I'm praying my AOD will hold up. I went with the ART CARR rebuild kit, valve body kit, 1 piece input shaft and 2200 non-lock-up convertor.

I figured if I was going to rebuild it when it died, I may as well build it better......THEN, wouldn't you know, 1 week after the tranny died I blew the HG's!

WOO-HOO, So this is why it's so fun to own an SC?
