Spark Adder

I need to know where the Spark Adder and Spout connectors are on a 90 SC. According to the booklet that comes with an EEC Tuner it is somewhere close to the MAF. What connector is located in the wiring harness that goes to the DIS, AC? Is that Spout or Spark Adder?

The spout connector is in the harness for Pin 5 of the DIS connector (the left side I believe). It should look like a connector with a insert that can simply be pulled out to create an open in the circuit.

Never have heard of a Spark Adder circuit.
 
This is somthing I read in the EEC Tuner Manual. It states where it is suppose to be located (By the MAF?) and what it looks like (looks the same as the Spout conector) but does not exactly tell what it does. Right now my car is pinging and I thought that if I disconnected it might help the problem by retarding the timing.
