Does anyony know who rebuilds the engines for Ford and what the quality is like? I need to replace my engine in the near future.

Hi

Ford does not tell us who the actual builder is but they must use ford parts and build to ford specs..after all ford puts their stamp of approval on them and warrenty them for 3/36!!

I sell a few and have not had any complaints.

Thanks for the info:D

I just wanted to make sure. I dont have time to do a rebuild myself and wanted to make sure I got quality. I had my tranny rebuilt by a shop (not from Ford) and I have had consistant trouble with it shifting when cold. It will get up to 4000- 5000RPM before shifting out of first.

This question is for mrzeee-how much would a new moulding for the top of my windshield be for my 93 sc-thanks. Mike.

I have a Ford SC crate motor in my '92. (Looked like a brand new motor when it came in from somewhere in Kansas, but I guess it was probably a rebuild) I put it in back in 1999 and it has about 60K miles on it now. No complaints.... (It did like to shear off balancers until I got the BHJ...maybe too much torque in the new engine for the stock balancer???)
