Can I start the car without exhaust?

I just finished a comlete rebuild, bottom end, heads, cam. I cant hook the exhaust back up because I installed the mustang tubular manifolds. I also changed the gas tank to the newer style, so my entire exhaust is useless. I am having an exhaust shop fab an entire exhaust. The mustang headers have O2 bung holes in them so I WILL be able to have the sensors in when starting. My questions are:

1 should I not fire up the motor on its first start with open headers?

2 should I run the car like this?

3 I was thinking of having it towed to an exhaust shop, car I start it long enough to drive it onto a trailer?

Concers: I wont be able to hear any issues with the car cause the motor is gonna be loud! Also warping the valves because of excessive cooling.

any other suggestions?

Thanks

Hi, Brandon,
When we did the Mustang manifold swap to Jason's car,
he rigged temporary downtubes from the 'stang manifolds to his existing resonator & back half by hacksawing a small section [the cats] out of the down tubes and replacing it with flex tubing and muffler clamps fron Autozone.

Admittedly kindof Gerry-rigged and leaky,
but good enough to allay concern about burnt valves,
for the 25-mile drive to our favorite muffler shop in Norman.

If you decide to trailer it, i wouldn't worry at all
about starting it long enough to drive onto a trailer.
