5 sp syncro problem?

I think I screw up a 3rd gear syncro when a vette pissed me off on the eway. Now some time later, 2nd is starting to wear as well (I think). With 170,000 it may be time to get in sync again.
(New clutch slave at 130K, fuel pump at 160K and alternator the next day). Just to verify symphtoms before I buy parts: Difficult getting into a gear, grinds some, if I run up to a slightly higher rpm then shift when the rpm drops, it tends to shift well. Never pops out of a gear. Syncros?
 
This sounds like a syncro problem. Difficulty entering gear is also sometimes indicative of clutch mechanism wear, but it could easily be just the syncros.
