i have done all of the little mods and now i am fixing to start spending the money so.....plane and simple....what is the best cold air intake out there that will produce the most horse power, and that will fit a 76mm maf and tb,and where can i get it.i dont care to spend the money, just want to do it right!...thanks for the help

Don't bother they are a waste of time on a mostly stock engine. The stock system is already a "cold air intake" system. Instead get a really good exhaust system.

I 2nd the exhaust opinion.

You'll notice a big difference with a free flowing exhaust system before you will benifit from intake modifications.

If you have the money to spend....dive in.

i have 3inch pipe straight to the back, with no resonator and no cats with dual 2 chamber flomasters.so you are saying that the macs, and the other cold air intakes dont help?

If you have a 76mm MAF.And if you are going with a 75mm throttle body.

A 3 inch cold air pipe is smaller in dia than the above two parts.
And the 3.5 is to large.

I beleive an ideal cold air tube for the 76mm MAF .should be
77mm id. on the MAF end.And the throttle body end should be
about 75mm id.

But no one makes a tube this size.

The best pipe would be one that you have made up.Get a pipe
that has a inside dia.the same size as the bore on the TB.
Then on the MAF end it should be expanded to 77mm.

So I beleive you need a cold air tube of a id. dia of 75mm .
Then have the MAF end exspanded to 77mm.This can be
done at a muffer shop. Then you will have no walls for the
air to ram into. This is if your going for natsass flow.
