Adjustable fuel pressure regulator

After just having a my fuel pump replaced I told the guy to set the pressure to 45lbs using the AFPR. He informed me that when he turned the screw on the regulator COUNTER-CLOCKWISE fuel pressure went up. I was under the impression that if you turned it CLOCKWISE it would increase pressure. He also informed me that the pressure is at 65 lbs right now. Now I am confused (once again) Which way is correct? By the way it's a AFPR from MN12.

Contact Rich over there and confirm with him. There is no standard for how it should work. Unless someone that has one can comment.

I would think you would want to get a fuel pressure gauge yourself though so you can check it everyonce and a while.

Thanks for the info, as soon as the temp outside gets down below a hundred i'll go out and give it a try.
