I was searching past posts about oil in the intake track via the PCV valve. You said you were making an oil trap. Did you ever do that? Can you describe it to me, or even better, take pics? I'm getting oil in the lower IC and that is not acceptable to me.

Thanks

I haven't made it yet, that was at the top of my list right before I pulled the engine apart! I am going to make it from this small aluminum bottle (http://www.rei.com/online/store/ProductDisplay?productId=12091986&storeId=8000&catalogId=40000008000&langId=-1) (it's smaller than it looks) and some AN fittings. The bottle will be upside down, so you can drain it by removing the top. The inlet port is going to have a coil of hose inside the bottle (in theory to spin out the oil on the sides), and the outlet will be above that. Should prevent so much oil from getting sucked in, although I don't know how effective it will be at removing finely atomized oil spray. Plus I'm not sure which line to put it on - I don't know if the majority of the oil comes from the PCV or the vent hose.

Most definatley comes mostly from the PCV, at least on mine. The "fresh air" tube that goes under the supercharger snout is bone dry on mine, but the PCV hose is almost dripping with oil.

Thanks for the info.
