My car recently died on me and I did a code test and it came up with codes:
87 - Fuel pump primary circuit fault
95 - Fuel pump circuit open, ECA to motor

So I replaced the fuel pump with a new one. The install went fine. I went to fire up the engine and still no go. I then tested it again and code 87 is now gone, but code 95 is still there. Any ideas on what I should do next??? Thanks.

Cut-off switch reset?

Did you try resetting the "cut-off switch" located in the trunk over by the manual gas cap release? That is the first (and easiest) place to start. Other than that, its just a case of checking fuses, and tracing wires.

NO i haven't tried that yet. I really don't think anything would've set that switch off because the fuel pump died on me not any of the wiring. Any idea why I would get two codes and then now there's one???

I really couldn't say what might cause the switch to open, or why the codes might change. (hard to explain a lot of things that these Birds do....) I just try to eliminate the things that are in reach or the easiest get to when I start troubleshooting...
