Hey, anyone interested in a Suffolk county meet? Maybe even western Suffolk or the Suffolk Nassau border. I'm out in Riverhead, Belmore is kind of a hall for a Friday night.

Folks, we're (ok me) is in the process of setting up a go-kart day, which is run on a track next door to LID (a track which I will never EVER give 1 penny of my money to every again).

Its called Extreme Karting New York and I think they have a web page. They've got everything from 8hp to 40hp karts, shifters, schools, etc. We're hoping to get a group of 12-15 people together this summer to give them a "spin".

If you've ever wanted to drive a racecar (or have driven one), you will abosultely LOVE karting. 2" off the ground at 60+ mph. Over 2gs in cornering forces. Bugs in your teeth. Muahahaha.

I'll post more when we get the details like dates and prices...

PS- They also have 140mph go-karts but its an 8 hour thing so u have to spend all day there..

Heh - if it were any other track than LID - I'd go, but I refuse to spend another cent there after the last fiasco.

As far as carting, we got their brochure. Basically, you start off in a 8hp kart to see how well you can drive and whether they can safely put you ~~~ behind a 40hp kart (mind you, thats 40hp in a 300# kart). They offer schools and special deals for groups which is what we're looking into. I got a good 5 definates who are willing to go. With Dennis and his posse, figure another 5 definates, so we'd only need around 5 more to get a thing going.

I'll keep everyone posted, and in the meantime, bug Dennis about setting up a SCCoA paintball event in Staten Island. (SCCoA vs TCCoA? muahahaha)

Dont bug me.. Im not prez of SCCoGNY anymore remember? But it seems since the new prez iz a crippled fu*k im gonna have to set something up that will NOT be SCCoGNY related (since i now own a DSM) but that everyone that has SC's can come along with.. Paintball is top on my list.. but its too hot for that right now... Any other ideas?

I like dust the best out of the box maps, but I don't know if you ever played DE_DAWN?? It's like an altered de_dust, but definetly for the better if you can picture that. What kind of connection you have? I'm on cable, so if you want I'll host a server and then I can riddle you with bullets. Anyway let me know. I'm in a clan call {~H~}, I don't know if you've ever seen their tags before but maybe. Anyway I'll talk to ya lata man.

Ive played dawn.. My most absolute favorite is a map called CS_Lost-Lands and also DE_Inferno then comes Militia and Rats.. Im also on Cable as is Russ so u can all try to riddle me.. All i need is the AWP and you nigguhz iz OUTTTTTTTTT...

PS- I went to the go-karts today in the Hamptons.. If you guys REALLY want to have an awesome meet.. I suggest you set one up there.. They also have group rates and LID is right next door for those who want to run their cars..

Uhm, I'm on CS as FLB/NYC, (usually on rats or assault) and my stats aren't so bad... I suck with the AWP cause my computer is too damn slow to zoom in and out fast enough, but otherwise... Lets get that server set up and see who's boss...

Its ok Chuck.. when Russ first started playing i didnt wait for him to learn.. He would run by and i would kill him within 30 seconds of the game.. He learned pretty Kwikly tho.. Someone hook him up with the Half Life CD so Chuck can learn too!! Ken we need to do this just give me the IP addy of your server and i would say around 9pm tomorrow on the 18th..
