I think I am going to cry

My roommate woke me up this morning at 7:45, "Sheena was leaving this morning and she said something doesn't look right on your car". Went out to look at it and somebody broke in the quarter glass, unlocked the door, ripped the dash cover where the stereo goes off, and tried to steal my stereo. They took the faceplate but didn't get the stereo. Either they were scared off or they realized they damaged the stereo trying to get it out. Morons, I've taken it out with a screwdriver before. Time to get an alarm with a pager so if it ever happens again, I can run out and beat someone's ***. Think God for a $250 deductible on comprehensive. Later,

Yup nothing worse than a theif,i no longer keep the face plate on my stereo after my car getting broken into.i also like the idea of getting a pager alarm to go out and greet the guests.I have often thought about wiring a tazer to the door handles and the alarm.

I don't know if this is how the factory alarm is supposed to work, but mine goes off if anyone opens the door any other way than the keypad. One time I left the window open when I parked it in the 'rents' garage and accidentally locked the door. Next day I cussed at myself for locking it and then hit the unlock button from inside and opened the door and it still went off. I continued to cuss at myself.

But the alarm is a lifesaver. I can hear my baby crying in my sleep. Especially when my dad uses the key to open it to move it out of his way. That woke me up in a panic. lol
