Running Too Rich help!

Plug plug today and noticed that it was soot covered. Im running autolite 2544's gapped at .048 My cars pretty stock, i have exhaust work, and a 5%(8%) blower pulley. Im trying to lean out the mixture abit and just looking for some advice. I do drive the car hard at times, but i dont want it to be running so ruch all the time. I figured that the lower gap was preventing the spark from igniting all of the fuel mixture and thus creating the rich condition
 
Several things can cause a rich or lean problem spark plugs are not one of them. Need more details and info to help you.
 
Cool BTM: I didnt do w/b 02 but yea i'll get the sheet up nonetheless. I fixed a boost leak i had today, when my boost cable broke off. ehehe car runs a lil different now :d
