Just finished head gaskets on my first sc. It was a task. Anyhow, where is the ecm or whatever it is called so I can check the codes. Also, when I turn it over it starts, but immediately shuts off. I have kept it running if I hold the key in just the right position. Just curious. Thanks Chris
 
The connector for your code reader is between the passenger shock tower & the firewall, it should be clipped to the shock tower. Might be gray in color, has a cover on it.

what i meant was change the ignition switch first ..before checking codes.. i had a similar situation and it would pull codes depending where the ignition switch was. once i changed the ignition every code was gone
