How does the shelf in the trunk come down?

Can anybody tell me how to take down the plastic shelf which holds the amplifer and ABS computer in our trunks?
In a NON destructive fashion?
I think there is a good amount of vertical space to be gained by then attaching these items directly onto the steel above.
Any suggestions?

Peter,
I think on the drivers side there is a bolt or a clip to un do it.
