hey guys, kelly simons is gonna be down here from vegas on the 16th, so i was going to see if you guys would be interested in a meet that day. there are a few things that we could do; we could go to the ca speedway for some night drags, we could all meet up and head to the beach, or my roommates parents have a place in corona that we could use to have a huge bbq/swim party. i'm open to any, and i would love to see kelly whip some ricer ***. we're definently going to be doing something with them that weekend when they come down and would like to include as many socal sc'ers as possible. and if you guys want to do something all day, we can do a bbq/racing since corona is 30 mins from the raceway

Sounds familiar..... :p
Definitely IN!
I may have the SilverBird back by then, but it won't be broken in - or the door replaced.

New door? It would be a heck of a lot easier to install, if you had left it

Looks like I may be making out to this one. May only be able to make it to the track though. Just got the beast running pretty good. Let's see how she does on the track.

Aaron,
That's great. Maybe I can a 13 sec. pass out of my car.

Good for some nice side by side racing. Anyone know what the elevation of the track is?

Just found out, 1120 ft. Lose quite a bit of time. Still should do well.

So how is the setup out at CA Speedway? Can we work on cars out there now? Should I wear my slicks or pack them in the trunk? Good pit area to store stuff?

ROFL!!!!! I just spit water on the monitor...THANKS MIKE!
Aaron,
CA Speedway is one of the nicer tracks we have been to. It gets pretty full so we gotta get there early to ensure a tech card. You can use the pit area to work on your car in case something happens to it or just to do some tweaking in between runs. A LOT of rice, and they get to go first for some reason. Usually more than one of us will go to spectate so we get to use their trunk for storage. Bring the slicks in the trunk, thats what John does. I think Mike does that too now.

I asked you if you knew someone who did paint in your area, and you said no. I kind'a figure it'd be easier to paint the insides with it off the car.

allright guys, i'll start planning some stuff. now, this is the thing; i think the speedway website said that we can start lining up at noon, and racing starts at 4. so what time would you want to be there to make sure we can all race?

Welp,
Last time we were there on a Saturday day time thing, racing started at 11:30 and we were there around 6ish and got #'s 2-10 or something like that. So if racing starts at 4, I think being there around noonish should be fine. Then again I don't know how crowded the night time drags get.
